The NEW Collister Elementary
Collister Elementary was built in 1912. It was overcrowded and outdated... 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐰. Thanks to voters who approved a bond in 2017, some of our schools in dire need of maintenance and improvement received it. Collister is the last major project from the 2017 bond. The elementary school received both a remodel of an existing structure and a reconstructed expansion. The new and improved Collister Elementary will be ready just in time for students to return this coming fall, with physical education and classroom additions, as well as high-efficiency windows and HVAC. 🤩🥳
The expansion/remodel was designed by LKV Architects and managed by Beniton Construction. The budget for this project is approximately $17.2 million.
