Boise Schools Choir Teachers Present in Finland!
Two Boise Schools music teachers had the opportunity to present at the International Society for Music Education Works Conference in Helsinki, Finland in July, 2024!
Amy Wickstrom, choir director at North & Hillside and
Aimee Atkinson, choir director at Riverglen co-presented "Rethinking Our Approach to Teaching and Learning in Music Education"
with Dr. Lori Gray from Boise State University.
Amy Wickstrom also presented two individual spoken papers entitled, "Finding Success in Music at the Secondary Level for Students with Disabilities" and "Creating Inclusive Secondary General Music: Rethinking Music for All.”
