SOLIDWORKS 2021 New Features & Enhancements: Flow Simulation
There have been a lot of enhancements and new features in @solidworks Flow Simulation 2021. This thruster shown is described in the simulation as a rotating region, and what's new in 2021 is the ability to combine rotating regions with the Free Surface Option. This is great for situations where we're mixing 2 or more liquids together and we want to visualize the results very accurately.
We're solving for the torque and the power requirements. We have some goals to track these results, and we can look at the history to see the actual values. New in 2021, we can see in these columns the Maximum Value and the exact time they occurred in the simulation time frame.

Creating plots that are common to use over and over again is even easier in 2021 because we have the ability to create plots from our scene. You can activate the plots and view them as you want. We can turn them on and save them using the Create Scene Template Option, also new in 2021.
