SOLIDWORKS: Z Up Coordinate System
In this presentation, we will discuss how to make a SOLIDWORKS part template with the coordinate system Z direction permanently in the "up direction." Starting with SOLIDWORKS 2020 this capability is quick and easy to perform. This is useful for users who plan on importing the CAD model into a CAM software where the Z direction is traditionally the "Up Direction." Other softwares can also benefit from this capability.
