Get The Linux Mint Driver Manager On Debian And LMDE.
If you have ever used Ubuntu you will know it comes with a driver manager. A very handy tool that scans for and installs any missing drivers from the repositories on your system. This saves you having to search for them yourself.
Debian 12 and 13 comes with both non free firmware and software. So if you have enabled this during the installation. Then you should have all of the drivers you need. Or be able to install them from the package manager.
Though many new users find it easier to install from the Driver Manager. Which will install most of the drivers for you.
Debian doesn't come with any driver manager but Linux Mint have their own
driver manager called Mintdrivers.
Which comes already installed on the Ubuntu based version of Mint.
So this is the one I have installed on Debian and it works fine. It also works
on Linux Mint LMDE which is the Debian based version.
You will need to download the Deb files from both the Linux Mint Packages Website and the Ubuntu Launchpad Website.
The Deb files you need to get are as follows:
mintdrivers (the driver manager)

mint-info (if using Debian) If you are using LMDE you will already have these files on your system.

Please note that the Driver Manager can only install drivers that are in the repositories on your system. Any drivers that are not included you will have to download and install them yourself from the vendors website.
