Nina is a light artist who works mostly with projectors to create images and shapes with light in spaces like theatres. She doesn’t really like working with video on screens any more - projecting on things and people is much more fun. The light can take the form of pictures, text, or just patterns and can go anywhere - from a tiny leaf to a giant building or even toys! It might sound quite complicated but it’s lots of fun and you get to play with some really cool equipment and make some really colourful things happen! Nina has been working with Tessa Bide Productons on a show for young people called ‘Bob’, where she has helped to create a character from light that is controlled by some magic tech gloves and even the space in which Bob moves is made of projected light. When she isn't doing this, she works on other projects from the West End to Fringe-scale too, and also is the joint Head of Video and Digital at RADA.
