Learn how to do Hard Reset of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0?
A factory reset, also known as a hard reset or master reset, is an effective, last resort method of troubleshooting for mobile phones. It will restore your phone to its original factory settings, erasing all your data in the process. Because of this, it's important to back up information before you do a factory reset.
Press and hold the Power button, then press the Volume Up button while still holding the Power button. Using the Volume buttons highlight Wipe data/factory reset. Press the Power button to select the option. Confirm by selecting Yes and let the phone do its thing.
It will not remove the device's operating system (iOS, Android, Windows Phone) but will go back to its original set of apps and settings. Also, resetting it doesn't harm your phone, even if you end up doing it multiple times.
A factory data reset erases your data from the phone. While data stored in your Google Account can be restored, all apps and their data will be uninstalled. To be ready to restore your data, make sure that it's in your Google Account.
