Armor Piercing Bombs Tested Against USS Forrestal In War Thunder
In War Thunder, I tested similarly weighted armor-piercing (AP) and high-explosive (HE) bombs against the USS Forrestal. Interestingly, lighter AP bombs appeared to cause slightly more damage to the carrier compared to HE bombs of the same weight. However, for heavier bombs, HE seems more effective against this target.
