Here's the ACTIVE part of our interviews where Marissa shows the pregnancy and postpartum exercises, and then show them on me!
There are so many that you can do to help your pelvic floor and heal the diastasis recti in the 4th trimester (the recovery portion) of having a baby!
Marissa is really trustworthy and has had so much physical therapy to help her recover from having twins and a single birth. Working with doulas and birthing coaches, pelvic floor specialists, lactate consultants .... there's so much to learn and share! Hope you learned something today!
I have to add something!!
There were some of the movements that I wasn't ready for and you can see that I started coning (diastasis recti) because they were too core focused and advanced for me because of how far along I am in my pregnancy. I'm 33 weeks, in my 8th month! I recommend if it's making you cone to modify or scale the movements, so you can strengthen while still staying safe!
