Experiencing grief as a Christian is such a hard thing. There’s a lot of mourning and reflecting and asking why…
But in the end, everything we read in scripture points us to hope.
It leads us back to God thanking him for the life of the loved one that passed away.
I lost my Grandma Marlys a few days ago, and I’ve been scrolling through ‘pictures of pictures’ my cousins are passing around and reading her sweet tributes from a couple of her 18 grand children.
In this video I share a personal story of a memory I have with her that I’ll never forget. Mostly I’d like to request prayer for my mom and her siblings.
Today we’ll be reading through 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14,
“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.”
