When you’re self-employed, how are you supposed to pay yourself? Can you just deposit the money your clients pay you into your personal banking account? I'm a self-employed magician, but at the end of the day I’m just running a service based business like many of you are. And that’s who I’m speaking to in this video: self-employed individuals who are running a small business where YOU essentially ARE the business, and you’re set up as an LLC or sole-proprietor.
There is a right way and a wrong way to pay yourself, and I know it can feel a bit confusing. In this video, I'll keep things as easy as possible to understand, and I'll explain my process for paying myself and keeping my books straight.
