UI to HI - Next-Gen App Opportunities
Here is a top-down view of the AI Opportunities and Challenges for application developers.
User expectations of what an app should be able to do have fundamentally changed.
So, it's better to embrace it than fight it.
My advice on building next-gen app is threefold:
1) See Gen-AI as a new processor type. (So, we have CPU, GPU, and now LLU for human to machine)
2) Embrace AI in your app design.
3) Focus on user value first, price optimization second.
And yes, Rust is the best language for building robust and scalable cloud and client applications, and the opportunity should be to use it to build next-gen apps.
