How Jack Antonoff Revolutionized Pop Music
Jack Antonoff is one of the biggest names in Pop Music and that's for good reason. From starting his career as lead guitarist, drummer, and background vocalist and songwriter for the band fun, which spanned hits like Some Nights, Carry On, to We Are Young, to his current production work, there's a lot that he's accomplished.
He's been at the helm of producing some of the last half decades most iconic pop albums. Antonoff has done notable work with Taylor Swift in regards to helping with production on her projects 1989, Reputation, Lover, and her most well critically acclaimed album, Folklore. The albums he's worked on have hit the top of the Billboard Charts, such as Lorde's Melodrama, and he has recently worked on Lorde's newest album, Solar Power.
Antonoff has also shown the ability to transcend genre and move outside of his comfort zone, with projects like Kevin Abstract's, leadman of Hip Hop group Brockhampton, album Arizona Baby.
Some of his most recent work has also come with Lana Del Rey, in 2019's Americana album Norman F******g Rockwell, and in 2021's Chemtrails Over the Country Club, both of which have been well received. With work with other artists like St. Vincent and Clairo, it's apparent that Jack Antonoff is the king of pop music production and songwriting.
