Glaciers Artic Circle
Tucked away among Sweden's highest mountains, approximately 150 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, Tarfala Research Station lies amidst several big glaciers. Here, at Sweden’s only station located in an alpine arctic environment, it’s possible to observe if the glaciers gain or lose ice, an important clue in the research of climate change.
