I remember when I was looking at the apartment for the first time, I saw this bed base and my hands itched to remake it. I love giving things a second life. Plus, I sold my old bed and wanted something new and minimalistic. Of course, it was in my way terribly throughout the renovation. I moved it back and forth 20 times. And maybe even on the 18th time of moving it from one wall to another, I was ready to throw it out. But I told myself - you spent so much effort on it - you have to be patient and do what you wanted, you can always throw it out. I buy technical fabric and foam rubber in a store "everything for furniture upholstery". I think there are such stores in every city. Parquet: a small bolster saved the whole situation with the playing parquet. When I realized that I would need to take a small bolster, my knees hurt. In the end, it worked out even faster than a large one. I did not have time to feel the pain in my knees. I felt only full pants of happiness when everything came out neatly 🫶🏻❤️
