I knew the windows would take a long time. I even took a time-out on everything. I needed to focus completely on the sashes and transoms because winter was just around the corner.
While removing the outer sashes, I learned that the neighbors had a baby. At that moment, I realized that taking the windows to the workshop was the smartest decision (even if it was the most expensive in terms of window costs). The milling machine is quite noisy. I would have simply disturbed the family who was about to have a baby. And the noise is quite loud in our kitchen (where I would have been installing the windows if I hadn't taken them out).
I'm keeping track of all the window costs. It came out quite expensive, but still cheaper than installing new ones. I'll share the total when I post the second part of the video. Besides, new windows would have ruined the charm of the bay window. It was very important to me to preserve the specific feel of the living room, and the windows are part of that feel.
I'll soon create a folder in the current news about windows.
