After the Fall, John cannot accept that Sherlock is dead. But his own memories of Sherlock begin, in Sherlock's way, to urge him to live with the truth.
"It really bothers you. About me, I don't understand, why would it upset you?"
The quote near the beginning is from 'The Great Game' commentary. Mark Gatiss was speaking of Sherlock's stance towards John (hardly a surprise there). The end quote is, of course, Sherlock's quote to Moriarty on the rooftop in 'The Reichenbach Fall', partly inspiring this edit.
It is getting a lot harder to upload my edits, despite an abundance of time, but I will hopefully get there.
