A sab's first experience of hounds killing a hare // Easton Harriers 26/01/2019
In January 2019, we followed the now defunct Easton Harriers to Chillesford, Suffolk. Within minutes of leaving the meet the hounds 'chopped' a hare and pulled the creature apart. Though we couldn't help the hare escape, some of our sabs were on hand to recover parts of the body.

One of those sabs had only recently started going out with us and it was their first experience of seeing the hounds kill. This video is a quick account of their experience and includes footage of the shallow burial that we gave the hare.
The Easton Harriers have since folded as a wildlife hunting pack, turning into the Hamilton Bloodhounds 'clean boot' pack. This was a direct result of the pressure that we put on the hunt.
We're still raising funds to cover the cost of fixing our sab vehicle. If you can contribute, please go to: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-hunt-...
