Downingtown Then & Now #97 - Romigs
Before Best Buy and others, stores like Romig’s was where you bought electronics and appliances. Seen here in the early 1970s, Romigs was at 44 West Lancaster Avenue across from the Downingtown Post Office, which is now Priori Mattress. Notice the Army and Marine recruiting signs out front.
