Downingtown Then & Now #99 - Pepperidge Farm/Victory Brewing
Seen in the old image is the former Pepperidge Farm factory along Chestnut Street in Downingtown in 1956. There were even a couple of railroad sidings to the factory from the Pennsylvania Railroad’s Main Line. You can see a boxcar sitting on one of them. Victory Brewing Co. has been at the location since 1996.
