Sen Watson speaks at Seton Psychiatric ED opening
We celebrated the opening of the Seton Psychiatric Emergency Department - the first Central Texas medical facility specifically designed to treat those who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis.
This is a vital community resource, and it simply couldn't have happened without Travis County voters' passage of Proposition 1 in 2012. Improved psychiatric services and facilities were among the 10 Goals in 10 Years I laid out in 2011. It's wonderful to see that our investment is making this big difference. We're living up to the promise we've made to Travis County voters.
