The behaviors resulting from childhood trauma and ADHD can be very similar. Sometimes, a person might be mistakenly seen as having ADHD when they are actually experiencing the consequences of childhood trauma. On top of that, many people with ADHD have also experienced childhood trauma due to their ADHD, which complicates the picture even further.
