Well folks, here we are. The point where I respectfully decline to make yall pay for this...haha! I'm going to try another livestream here to commemorate the moment, but it's the same game as it's been for a while. The IJN will keep punching back at New Guinea here while CINCPAC makes plans to take Tarawa and points beyond. I have one more convoy to get back down to Milne Bay before I turn TF1 loose, but the carriers will need some port time before I can make a bigger push into the Central Pacific. We'll see how it goes! Regardless, big thanks to all yall for being here and hop on into the chat an dsay hello if you catch this. If not, I'll see you in the comments later. Cheers!
All photos in the outro slideshow (when there is one!) are thanks to the US National Archive and the Naval History and Heritage Command.
Wanna buy me a coffee? Thanks much, but I'd appreciate it if you kicked a couple of bucks to preserve World War II aviation instead. Check these guys out:

Good folks. Helluva collection they got, and your donation will go to people who are doing their best to preserve the past.
Not into aviation? No problem. Battleships could use some love too:

BB62 a little modern for you? There's a dreadnaught who could use your help as well - she's safe in dock now, but can still use your support:

BZ, folks.
