❝Fractures 「Klance, Shiro & Keith」Voltron
So I'm not even gonna lie, it took three weeks and five scrapped edits to get to this point. I have never had to work so hard on an edit in my life. MASKING AND REDRAWING SCENES IS IMPOSSIBLE. ...if S2 had've had more Klance content to work with I wouldn't have had to make all this shit up, but noooo...I guess the creators are determined to make us work extra hard. (...I am totally not bitter.)
I've always like the headcanon that Keith dropped out of the garrison because he was devastated when Shiro was lost in the Kerberos mission-so I took that into the context of Shiro's recent disappearance. Keith would definitely take Shiro's disappearance the hardest, and on top of that he'd be completely overwhelmed with the burden of being leader due to having doubts in his own capabilities. Lance would be the one to help him through things in his own weird little way (because we all know that Lance is secretly Keith's number one fan); it would hurt him to see somebody who he literally puts on a pedestal completely fall to pieces...and I think he would quit seeing Keith as a "rival" and more as just a person who has his own insecurities and downfalls. Jeremy Shada said at one point that Lance "Would eventually find that one person that he'd just fall in love with a bit" and that's exactly how I picture Lance falling in love with Keith would be like. Lance just trying to help Keith get through rough times, and slowly falling for him. On the other hand, I think Keith would be absolutely terrified to lose somebody he loves again after Shiro. He would recklessly risk his life and do everything he could to protect Lance...and Lance would worry about him nonstop. ohmygod, I've thought about this too much.
Gonna add here, that I've noticed a lot of toxicity in the Voltron fandom as of late...and well...it sucks guys! Let's not attack the VAs and other people okay? We all love this show, and at the end of the day it really doesn't matter, does it?
