Angkor Wat - the ONLY way to avoid Crowds!
Hey there,
Ya'll might consider visiting Angkor Wat Temple but are unsure about if the ticket price is worth it to try to see sunrise, or how bad the crowds are going to be considering this is pretty much the only reason people are going to Cambodia these days (it's even on their flag, they're so proud of it).
Well, we think it's best to avoid sunrise, and the best way to avoid the crowds as well, is to go in the middle of the day. It's pretty counter intuitive to what you'd think is good advice and tips, but you really might enjoy the experience much more.
Also - we make a point that you should go see the temples as soon as possible, because when you think about when Angkor Wat was built, and how much longer it can stand, even though Cambodia is doing their best to preserve it, there are many areas that are now closed off and falling down that were completely open 9 years ago when we went for the first time.
Hope this video helps you guys figure out how/when and why to visit this awesome place. If it wasn't worth it, we wouldn't make a video and tell you it is, nor would we have gone for our second time!
