Cleaning out the Greenhouse in Spring
Spring cleaning of the Greenhouse after what seems a long Winter. One should always clean surfaces with a soap and water mix and sterilize with an appropriate mix of bleach and water. Disease and insect eggs can remain on surfaces over winter awaiting Spring to explode into trouble. I'll be planting cucumber and pepper seeds in my Greenhouse in containers by March 5th. The cucumbers will eventually grow in my Greenhouse planter box. I also saved some heating dollars this year by moving the majority of my plants inside the house. Not pictured are my larger plants that were placed lined up the stairs in my heated garage Etsy office space!
