A little bit about the Patriot featured in this photo:

He built a new home and sold the motel in 80 where he live with my grandmother until she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 97 and they moved to PTBO. He looked after her until she was very sick then she went into a nursing home where she died in 2000 and he moved back to Havelock until Dec 2012 at the age of 98. He is the longest standing member of the Nights of Columbus and has been a member for 60 years.
