As the breeze blows powerfully, I am thankful for the air i breath
As the dawn alights the sky, I am thankful that my imagination can fly
As the trees dance through the day, I am thankful that i am learning my way
When the night falls dark with the absence of light , I am thankful that my dreams can take flight
When i hear my mothers voice, I am thankful i was her choice
As i hear my fathers laugh, I am thankful he is part of my path
When I see wildlife free, I am thankful that I have vision to see
When I feel my tears start to shed, I am thankful I cannot be lead
As the stars dance with the moon, I am thankful for I have not grown up too soon
When I feel my soul fill with joy, I am thankful for the differences of girls and boys
As I hear the rain fall, I am thankful for my spirits call
As I see the bounty of earth, I am thankful for I have learned from my hurts
When I see the birds with fly with freedom, I am thankful that our earth is eden
When I hear my grandparents stories, I am thankful for their days of glory
As the world churns too and fro, I am thankful for the life that I know
As the world heals with love, I am thankful for my spirit from above
As this THANKSGIVING comes I am am thankful for the ones I love
