We're learning to solve power equations, also known as exponential equations, from scratch. Equations of this type can be found in the Unified State Exam in mathematics. We'll examine the main solution methods in detail.
To solve an exponential equation, the left and right sides of the equation must be transformed so that the exponential functions on the left and right sides have the same bases, and then simply equate their powers. If this isn't possible, the equation is usually solved by changing the variable. To do this, all exponential functions in the equation must be made identical.
