Maya FX: Introduction to the nucleus system (nCloth, nParticles, nHair)
You want to know more about the Maya nucleus system? nParticles, nHair and nCloth?
Look no further, this video will give you a nice introduction into FX simulations in Maya. If you are new to 3d simulations in Maya, this is right for you.
I will show you how to setup this party scene with simulated table cloth, 3d simulated banners on a line (technique is also useful for cg laundry), and some particle confetti.
I might make some more tutorials about the old rigid body system in Maya, Maya bullet and nParticle instancers, complete with mel expressions.
