NASA WING | Magnets on a Pole Drop Tower Experiment
This drop tower experiment was a part of What If No Gravity? (WING). WING is a NASA educational program for teams of students to design and build an experiment to be tested in a NASA microgravity drop tower.
The magnets on the pole repel each other. As the module is dropped, observe how the magnets' behavior changes. In microgravity, the magnets are not held together. As a result, they repel each other and separate further.
