STAGE 1 – CREATE CAMPAIGN
Step 1: Log into your Getresponse account
Step 2: You will need to create a campaign before you are able to create an autoresponder. To do this click the dropdown menu at the top right next to “Your current campaign”. And then choose “Create campaign”.
Step 3: You will need to name your campaign. I suggest naming it something relevant to your brand, business or website, so it’s easy to remember. Click “Create campaign” when done.
STAGE 2 – CREATE AUTORESPONDER
Step 4: Now that we have the campaign created, you are now able to create an autoresponder. Click “Create Autoresponder”.
Step 5: On this page you can choose the days you want your messages to send as well as the delays between them.
You are also to choose whether you want your messages to send when a previous email has or hasn’t been opened, or if a user has or has not clicked a link in your email.
Step 6: At the bottom you are able to name your autoresponder.
Step 7: You will now need to create your first email, so select “Create new email”.
STAGE 3 – CREATE EMAIL
Step 8: On this page you will be able to name your message (this is only for you and will not be seen by subscribers. As well as add a subject line for your email. When done click “Next Step”. You can save and exit anytime during this process.
Step 9: Here you can find a plethora of templates to suit your taste. If you want full control or want to create your email from scratch, scroll down until you see “HTML code editor” on the left.
Step 10: Before you start writing your email, click “Show WYSIWYG” at the bottom. This shows you more html editing tools you can use to craft the perfect email. When complete click “Next Step” at the bottom right.
Final step: Review your autoresponder settings, if your happy with them scoll to the bottom and click “Save and publish”. You should see your autoresponder calendar and the first email you created. If your having trouble seeing your email, click the dropdown box next to “Show autoresponders in campaign” and click “Select All”.
