Pawai Ogoh-ogoh Pura Segara Kenjeran
Melasti adalah upacara ritual penyucian Hindu Bali, yang menurut kalender Bali diadakan beberapa hari sebelum hari suci Nyepi.
Hal ini diamati oleh umat Hindu di Indonesia, khususnya di Bali.
Melasti dimaksudkan sebagai ritual untuk membersihkan dunia dari segala kotoran dosa dan karma buruk, melalui tindakan simbolis memperoleh Tirta Amerta, yang merupakan "air kehidupan".
Ogoh-ogoh adalah patung yang dibangun untuk parade Ngrupuk, yang berlangsung pada malam Nyepi hari di Bali, Indonesia.
Ogoh-ogoh biasanya memiliki bentuk makhluk mitologi, sebagian besar setan.
Seperti banyak usaha kreatif berdasarkan Hindu Bali, penciptaan Ogoh-ogoh merupakan tujuan spiritual yang terinspirasi oleh filosofi Hindu
Tujuan utama dari pembuatan Ogoh-ogoh adalah pemurnian lingkungan alam dari setiap polutan spiritual yang dipancarkan dari aktivitas makhluk hidup (terutama manusia).
Bentuk-bentuk Ogoh-ogoh merupakan Bhuta-Kala (Bhuta: energi yang kekal, Kala: waktu yang kekal), menurut ajaran Hindu.
Potensi tak terlihat alam tidak dapat benar-benar dieksplorasi oleh siapapun.
Secara filosofisi, para lelaki diperlukan untuk mengelola sumber daya alam tanpa merusak lingkungan itu sendiri.
Dalam rangka menyambut hari Nyepi di Surabaya, setiap tahunnya diadakan pawa seni ogoh-ogoh yang tahun ini bertempat di Pura Segara, Kenjeran, Surabaya.
Pawai seni ogoh-ogoh ini dibuka oleh Tri Risma Harini selaku walikota Surabaya.
Dalam pawai seni kali ini sebanyak 13 buah ogoh-ogoh turut meramaikan pawai seni tersebut dan sukses menarik minat berkunjung baik dari wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara.

The forms of Ogoh-ogoh represent the Bhuta-Kala (Bhuta: eternal energy, Kala: eternal time), according to Hindu teachings.
The imperceptible potentials of nature cannot be thoroughly explored by anyone.
Philosophically, civilized men are required to manage the natural resources without damaging the environment itself.
In order to welcome the day of Nyepi in Surabaya, annually held arts Pawa ogoh-ogoh which this year took place in Pura Segara, Kenjeran, Surabaya. Art ogoh-ogoh parade was opened by Tri Risma Harini as mayor of Surabaya.
In march this time 13 pieces of art ogoh-ogoh parade enliven the art and successfully attract visitors both local and foreign tourists.
