This is my rendition of a pure deathblight build. Even with a strong priority placed on vigor, I was still able to achieve a viable build for RL90. Without swapping talismans, you’re able to use both Fia’s Mist and Eclipse Shotels to inflict deathblight. This is an older video I recently finished and I'm not too experienced invading at RL90. I've been playing exclusively at RL168 since Patch 1.10 because I still find OLPs to be a real problem below meta level.

I use a Cipher Pata for dealing with the host’s entourage and especially OLPs. Once host is alone, I will swap to +0 eclipse shotels to ensure the host survives the blighting. It’s best to stick with the shotel unless you’re in a confined space where Fia’s Mist will be useful. The limited MIND requires you be cognizant of your FP bar (make sure you pack starlight shards to be safe).

I’m interested in improving this build further. The concept is much more frustrating at RL168, so I recommend using my Carthus Pyromancer build for that. Arcane builds are almost impossible to blight at that level if the host has at least control of his left index finger to press L2. You'll need to hit them 35+ times quickly, while they will often be able to trade into you multiple times, run away, or resummon. My honest opinion: this is the most viable pure deathblight build I've seen, but you might do better to avoid this one if you get easily frustrated.
