In this video, we’ll look at Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Cloud’s managed service offering for Kubernetes. GKE is one of the popular services used for application modernization. First, we’ll see why organizations use GKE by exploring its features. Then we’ll move into the demo and create a cluster in GKE after enabling Kubernetes Engine API. You’ll see how to create a cluster in GKE from Cloud Console and Cloud Shell. After creating the cluster, we’ll deploy a sample application and expose it to the internet. Finally, we’ll look at managing auto-scaling for the deployed application.
