A reference image is useful when modelling in Blender. This video is the first part of the practical project to create a simple Dutch Barn model in Blender. As part of the Different Angle 3D tutorial series of videos it creates a reference image of the front and side of a hay barn, that will be used in the creation of a 3D Dutch Barn model.
This tutorial uses the Gimp Image Editor to create the reference image. The image will then be imported into Blender in the next part of this practical course.
If you would like to repeat this tutorial on your own computer the barn photographs, reference image and a shortcut key map is available to download for from: https://gumroad.com/robertburke3d

This free video tutorial is recorded using Blender 2.9 and covers: Blender Basics, Blender Modelling, Mechanical Modelling, Precision Modelling, Product Design. Blender Tools, Blender Training and much more.

If you are finding these videos useful, don't forget to subscribe to Different Angle 3D. It will mean you will be notified when the next video is released and help others on YouTube find this information.
