Unpopular Harry Potter opinion
I might get some backlash for saying this, but I believe the Sorting Hat in Harry Potter is quite unnecessary. Why divide students into houses that often foster rivalry and tension among them? The primary purpose of a school should be to unite students, regardless of their traits and personalities. While I understand this tradition dates back to the four founders of Hogwarts, I think it's something that could have been changed or improved over time.
