The barren desolate planet of Munidar, now predominantly covered by sand, but not so long ago was a thriving metropolis. A quick hike up Velentar Valley and you could see a vast landscape full of remnants of an amicable civilisation. Until a few centuries ago a mysterious mythical woman descended from the sky in a floating castle full of robot warriors. The woman who only ever wore red appeared to be able to command the sands and was a master of weather manipulation. Before long, more castle ships were planted turning the world into a dry hot wasteland.
The Red Queen and her army quickly overwhelmed the local civilisation, which had already established itself as the owners of the planet. Unfortunately their progress never made it to space travel. They were no match for the Red Queen and her sentinel army. She had her sights set on ruling Munidar.
And here we are, nearly seven hundred years later, still under the Red Queen's reign. Well a descendant that had learned the ways of the original, even mastering the dark arts of eco-manipulation. Her evil empire had caused a near poverty boutade, she didn’t care what happened to the people of Munidar, she was only after the planet’s resources. Its position in the Odega system made optimum conditions for growing Kythentel, the plant and main ingredient in the most powerful illicit substance throughout the Known, Ky2.
