Viridis, a green, luscious planet just outside the Sovereign Alliance. Was a sanctuary for strange creatures. Full of mountains, Great Lakes and rivers, and a plethora of plants that only exist here. When the first human explorers arrived they dated the world's flora as being more than five million years old. An unbelievable supposition. Using sophisticated testing methods mixed with impressive technology, they confirmed that the soil was also around this age.
The name Viridis was given to the planet by the first expedition, being Latin for the color “green”. Commander Stanton was an expert when it came to organizing and leading NWE’s, New World Expeditions. Also, having the Solar Navy’s resources at his disposal gave him a thrill that he couldn’t get anywhere else.
He stood at the bridge of the Nebula class Solar Navy ship which was in orbit above Viridis. The Solar Navy has strict NWE protocols, including not having too many feet trampling the untouched ground. Only a handful of the expedition team descended to the planet, the rest stayed on the Excession.
