Takuro Shibata is a ceramic artist who lived and worked in Shigaraki, Japan, and is now based in Seagrove, North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Applied Chemistry from Doshisha University, Japan. Director of STARworks Ceramics, specializing in ceramic materials, and member of the International Academy of Ceramics.
