This beloved anime had us hooked but fell off big time!
It’s no secret that season one of Promised Neverland broke the genre for mystery and sci-fi, that constant fear and thrill whilst you slowly uncover what’s going on in the Grace Field House orphanage, nothing will replace that feeling again.
With season one ending on a major cliffhanger, season two’s writing is such a massive step down from Season one, it lost all tension, suspense and sense of danger that we didn’t know we wanted in season one, but expected again.
Even half way through the season, a standard 12 episode season, episode 5 was a recap of the past 4 episodes? Who thought this was a good idea?
