Using The SUM & SUMIF Functions in Excel - Add It All Up
Use the SUM Function and the SUMIF Function in Excel. Using these basic functions in your spreadsheet to increase productivity. You can use the SUM and SUMIF functions to sum cells, multiple ranges, or both.
The SUM function adds individual values, ranges, or cell references. You may even elect to sum a mix of all three. The SUMIF function does the same but allows you to sum based on specific criteria.
