Boran cattle, Ol Pejeta conservancy
Ol Pjeta has the largest amount of pure bred Boran cattle anywhere, some 7,000 head, maybe more by know.
Ol Pejeta integrates cattle with wildlife, and use livestock as a means to manage the rangelands more effectively. They spend their days grazing on the plains of Ol Pejeta, and at night, the cattle are corralled in a predator-proof enclosure (boma).
