Making Fjutt (Animation Timelapse)
Fjutt, while only being a very short animation, was quite a challenge to make. It was the first color 2D animation I had made in Dreams. Since it's a 3D engine it was never really made to make 2D animations. But I wanted to see if it was possible anyways!
The video is sped up 3000% (one second is 30 seconds). Rough animation and clean up took 3,5 hours, and coloring the base colors around 4 hours. And then there were the extra things I didn't record myself working on like shading and background colors. The animation takes up a lot of the thermometer, so if I wanted to make a similar animation the same way done here but longer, it would be impossible!
But it was a very fun challenge, and I want to make more 2D animations in the future!
