DIY Motorized Turntable from an old TV stand - Practical 3D Printing with Fusion 360
I'll modify an old electric TV stand to become a motorized turntable to shoot some video.
The TV stand was not designed to do a full 360 degree turn and thats why its inner gear only has a couple of teeth to get about 20 degrees on rotation.
I'll use my phone to make a reference image and then fully model a new gear in Autodesk Fusion 360.
I'd like to show you how you can u can use the attached canvas to make parts that fit into existing objects like this TV stand.
After removing the old gear and inserting the new one the box is able make a full 360 degree turn.
