BYD began selling passenger EVs in Japan in January 2023, with the ATTO3 being the first model to be released. Sold around the world, including China, Thailand, Australia, and Europe, the ATTO3 is a C-segment SUV that is easy to handle in Japan. An update in April 2024 added minor changes to the exterior design and a larger center display in the interior, giving it a more advanced feel.
