So a little back story..
About 6 months ago I got a GoPro Hero 2 as a Christmas gift and recently I've felt incredibly inspired to start using it more to it's full capacity! One of the coolest things it can do that it's predecessor the GoPro Hero cannot is record in 120 frames per second! And on top of that, GoPro also have special software you can download for free called, GoPro CineForm Studio that's helps you get the best quality out of what you film on your GoPro Hero 2.
For a while I've wanted to take my skills of trials riding and do a video that showed in super slow motion what each movement looks like as I feel it's a beautiful expression. I've seen a few of the people I look up to in the bike world like Ryan Leech, Danny Macaskill, Hans Rey and Jeff Lenosky just to name a few do something similar in bike videos I've seen throughout the years. The empty lot I found near my old neighborhood seemed to be the perfect spot and luckily no one seemed to mind, especially this second time around since they already know I mean no harm.
Like I mentioned and you saw in the video, the biggest bummer about my filming today wasn't any camera issues, it was bike issues! Took me changing 2 new tubes and going to a local bike shop to find the big hole I think may have been caused by landing on a nail in the cement foundation. It's so crazy that I'm going to now need to come out for a third time to film everything. But I'm determined to make it happen soon.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments, thanks for watching!
