So a little back story..
About 6 months ago I got a GoPro Hero 2 as a Christmas gift and recently I've felt incredibly inspired to start using it more to it's full capacity! One of the coolest things it can do that it's predecessor the GoPro Hero cannot is record in 120 frames per second! And on top of that, GoPro also have special software you can download for free called, GoPro CineForm Studio that's helps you get the best quality out of what you film on your GoPro Hero 2.
For a while I've wanted to take my skills of trials riding and do a video that showed in super slow motion what each movement looks like as I feel it's a beautiful expression. I've seen a few of the people I look up to in the bike world like Ryan Leech, Danny Macaskill, Hans Rey and Jeff Lenosky just to name a few do something similar in bike videos I've seen throughout the years. The empty lot I found near my old neighborhood seemed to be the perfect spot and luckily no one seemed to mind.
Like I mentioned in the end of the video, the biggest bummer about my filming this last weekend where all this bike footage was recorded was that I learned about fog and humidity getting into the housing of the camera the hard way. I learned I'm basically never going to shoot something that's really important without the GoPro anti-fog inserts.. which I conveniently found out existed after the fact.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments, thanks for watching!
