This trailer was created for a short film project that never got made and it was intentionally made to be very over the top and tongue in cheek.
The short film was to be a critique of the trend in Hollywood to crank out cheap clones of successful movies. At the time this was made "The Fast and the Furious" had recently been a surprise hit and thereafter a number of movies with a similar premise, both big budget and direct to video were released.
In the short our 2 wannabe producers were pitching an idea to a Hollywood bigwig that was a blatant ripoff of the of the first "The Fast and The Furious" movie which in of itself was a ripoff of "Point Break". The only difference in our movie was that women would be the lead characters.
The trailer was cobbled together from publicly available trailers downloaded from the internet back in 2002 and edited with a video editing program that came with my Dell PC, hence the poor video quality.
