King Kong vs Godzilla vs 50 Ft. Steven Seagal | 1999 | Trailer
This is my first project from the late 90's. I came up with this idea after a night of watching old movies that included "King Kong vs Godzilla" and "Out for Justice". I wondered what would happen if these two classic monsters were on the rampage and the only person who could stop them was 90's era Steven Seagal?
The reference to him being 50 feet tall is an homage to the cheesy classic "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman".
To show you how old this is I actually had to somehow connect my VHS player to my Dell PC using some adapter from Radio Shack and record the clips while they were played from various Godzilla and Steven Seagal VHS tapes that I owned at the time. I cobbled the footage together with some very basic consumer video editing program that came with my Dell (don't remember the name)
All these years later this is still one of the favorite things I have worked on. Once of these years I plan on recreating this with HD footage.
